In 25–26 September, the Olympic Centre in Rēzekne hosted the expo Festival of Opportunities organised jointly by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Rēzekne City Council for the sixth time, drawing nearly 150 companies from Latgale and the rest of Latvia.
This time, the event was special not only because it gave an opportunity to visit the new Olympic Centre Rēzekne venue, but for the first time it also drew remote visitors and attendees. Both days, the festival was broadcast live on the event website www.uznemejudienas.lv, in social networks and on the portal Tvnet, with nearly seven thousand participants taking advantage of this opportunity and following the event remotely.
The visitors on site had an opportunity to find out what is happening in Latgale, visit the joint stands of businesses of the regions, towns and cities. Balvi, Daugavpils, Līvāni, Ludza, Krāslava and Preiļi presented the varied offer of their businesses. The locals from the city of Rēzekne presented the implemented projects of improving the city. The visitors were also received by guests from the Zemgale Planning region, with a large group of businesses.
