The LCCI Court of Arbitration

The Court of Arbitration of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), traditionally and accordingly to international practice, has been operating within the LCCI from its foundation in 1934.

The LCCI Court of Arbitration reviews both domestic and international civil disputes. It is available both for merchants and other persons who have included the arbitration clause of the LCCI Court of Arbitration in their transaction documents.

The LCCI Court of Arbitration takes into consideration the interests of all parties involved, providing maximum swiftness of the arbitration processes and reasonable arbitration costs.

Advantages of this internationally recognised arbitration process - confidentiality, reasonable proceeding terms, freedom of parties in the selection of arbitrators, language of the arbitration process, place of the proceedings, and form of the arbitration process - guarantees that the LCCI Court of Arbitration will be an effective alternative to the general jurisdiction courts.
