Thursday, 8 of August, the sitting of Kurzeme Council of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK), which is the largest association of Latvian entrepreneurs, took place with participation of LTRK President, Aigars Rostovskis, and Deputy Manager of Ventspils Free Port management, Igors Ududovs, to discuss topical issues in Ventspils.
On 13 September this year, an event “Business Rally 2019” organised by journal “CAPITAL” will take place; it will gather business representatives from all sectors throughout the day to enhance successful cooperation and prove their teamworking capacity.
In order to find out which is the best amateur football team among entrepreneurs in Latvia as well as to promote this sport discipline, “Entrepreneur Football Tournament” will take place already this Friday, 23 August, in Jaunmarupe stadium, 5/7 Ivju Street; it is organised by the largest association of Latvian entrepreneurs — Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) in cooperation with the Latvian Football Federation, Association of Mārupe Entrepreneurs and Mārupe County Council.

On 5 and 6 July the President of the LCCI Aigars Rostovskis visited the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek to represent 20 million companies or EUROCHAMBRES, the organisation uniting European Chambers of Commerce and Industry at the European Union (EU) and Middle Asia forum, where the co-operation strategy and its implementation was discussed .
The LCCI has signed a co-operation contract with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “Mutual co-operation with Hungary is important as it can open up a new export market for Latvian businesses or promote the stabilisation of the existing market,” claims the President of the LCCI Aigars Rostovskis.
This week, the LCCI, in co-operation with the municipal council of Tukums and the Tukums Club of Entrepreneurs, organised a meeting of entrepreneurs, within the framework of which, the meeting of the LCCI Kurzeme Council and the Kurzeme Business Club took place.
To promote the export of timber and derived products with high added value to China, the largest Latvian entrepreneurs’ society — the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) — is organising an entrepreneurs’ visit to Shanghai and Changzhou in China from 14 until 20 July within the framework of the European Union (EU) co-financed project “LEF Network to China”.
