From 1 May 2015 to 28 August 2015 within the project were organized 3 activities: “Fair trade” prize, 4 regional seminars in Latvia (Daugavpils, Jelgava, Valmiera, Ventspils), as well a catalogue of good practice with examples of fair trade was published. “Fair trade” prize gave the opportunity to identify best representatives of fair trade among Latvian companies, as a result one of the nominees was chosen as a winner of “Fair trade” award.
Regional seminars which were organized in 4 Latvian large municipalities - Daugavpils, Jelgava, Valmiera, Ventspils, gave the opportunity to 82 representatives of specific target groups to participate in discussions regarding the responsibility of municipalities and other stakeholders in the context of the fair trade.
As the third point of the project’s activity the catalogue of good practice with the examples of fair trade among Latvian and International companies was published and printed. The given catalogue helps entrepreneurs to follow the recommendations of experts.
All main goals as well planned indicators of the given project were achieved.
